Trying to integrate social studies economics unit into a read aloud and nonfiction or biography, historical fiction, etc. I recently posted a request for fiction excerpts to use for practicing responding to texts in grades 3 - 6. This form allows organization of the information and if the response is strong I will post a link for all. Thanks to all who helped with this! Many of us are just staying afloat in our jobs. The authors show model lessons for each signpost, showing how to gradually give responsibility to the students.
