Great Picture Books to Use for Notice and Note – All Signposts – Pernille RippTrying to integrate social studies economics unit into a read aloud and nonfiction or biography, historical fiction, etc. I recently posted a request for fiction excerpts to use for practicing responding to texts in grades 3 - 6. This form allows organization of the information and if the response is strong I will post a link for all. Thanks to all who helped with this! My idea is have students track their thinking and then have discussions a few times a week.
