Did your perceptions of Julie change during the course of the book? Do you think Julie handled Julia's dislike appropriately in the book? Not even sure what her mental state was? How about everyone else? I understood her motivation for starting the project - wanting something concrete to work on with a set goal. I guess she choose that particular cookbook because of its emotional connection with her childhood, but I really can't imagine doing the same myself.
