A popular beer cocktail in Western Europe, a Shandy is half beer and half juice or fruity soda. You can adjust the amounts to your liking. Fresh squeezed citrus and hefeweizen; a match made in shandy heaven. This take on the classic Snake Bite beer cocktail combines two summertime favorites; a light beachy lager and dry sparkling cider. Typically half and half, you can play with the ratio until you get a flavor you like best. Remember to use ice cold ingredients straight from the cooler.

    Update : We tried making a black and tan again with much more success this time. Learn how to pour the perfect black and tan. This was supposed to be a tale about how easy it is to make the glorious drink that is the black and tan. But, instead it is a recount of my struggle and ultimate defeat of the classic beer cocktail. 💤

    Load More I harbor han grudge. I love black and tans, and I love Guinness! One thing made with Guinness that is not Irish is the Black and Tan.

Not all stouts will float on top like Guinness though many do and not all pale ales are as boack as Bass Pale Ale and can withstand Guinness' weight. Remember Me. Those sugars then get converted to alcohol and the lower the alcohol content, the lighter and less dense the drimk.
